Yea the new update says you will be able to pick up enemies cash and ammo.
I am not sure about the way you will be able to pick up the drops.
Most likely you will have to walk over it.
Or maybe it will appear in a bubble like other update features will.
Be prepared to go into a danger zone and risk it all.
